Does ISO invariance work with video?
Hi Rupert. For Theta Z1 it does not, for many reasons. Main reason is that it works only in raw mode. Z1’s video is highly compressed, so it doesn’t have the info needed for iso invariance. fwiw, if you want high dynamic range in video, the best one right now is insta360 one x, and fyi, the hdr video mode works even for moving subjects. https://360rumors.com/2019/04/insta360-one-x-hdr-video-tripod-required-use-hdr-video.html
Where did they hide the HDR button ?? cannot find it in the Theta app
Hi Niki. If you are using Raw mode, then HDR will not be available. Turn off the Raw mode, and you’ll see HDR and noise reduction mode.

Ok, that wasn’t working. If i choose just jpg und not jpg & raw the hdr option and something like noise reduction isn’t there …
