Well 11 pm Pacific clearly rules out GoPro which leaves Insta360, Qoocam, Ricoh and that’s about it I think for a ‘major’ 360 camera manufacturer. Also strange to call the company a ‘camera’ manufacturer. I think we can rule out Insta360 given the very recent release of One X2 (although who knows, could it be a sequel to the Evo which was recently removed from the store but now is back I see much to my surprise), and I don’t really see what Qoocam would release. Maybe a an updated Z1 with 8k? The colours do make me think of 3D for some reason.

The deadline has passed. I am hoping for an updated version of the Theta Z1 with a dedicated WiFi control/ SD card. Maybe add to the wishlist an infrared 360 camera. Infrared 360 shots would be awesome, although they would look idiotic for a virtual tour or video clip.
