DEALS: Dashwood’s 360 video editing plugins for Mac are now FREE; what are Apple’s plans for 360?

Dashwood plug-ins for 360 video editing on Mac are now free

Dashwood makes plug-ins for 360 video editing for Mac.  The plug-ins work on Final Cut Pro, Motion, Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects.  The plug-ins include tools such as horizon leveling, 2D or 3D 360 editing, tripod removal, etc.  I posted about them almost exactly a year ago here.

A few days ago, Apple hired Dashwood’s founder Tim Dashwood, and the plug-ins are now free!  I don’t have a Mac but I’m glad Mac users are getting a break!
I’m also curious if this means that Apple will also be more involved with the 360 industry going forward.
Thanks to tech blogger Mike Cane (Atomic Supermen blog) for bringing this to my attention!
