The AR feature appears to increase viewer engagement.  According to YouTube, when they enabled this feature, 30% of users chose to try the virtual makeup, and of those who did, they spent an average of 80 seconds trying on the makeup.  The feature is currently in alpha, and is available through FameBit, YouTube’s branded content platform.
