When Insta360 launched the first Insta360 Pro in 2017, they surprised the video industry by creating an 8K professional 360 camera that was not only more affordable, but also extremely easy to use — as easy as a consumer 360 camera.

In 2018, Insta360 followed it up with the Insta360 Pro 2.  The key advantages of the Pro 2 are its significantly higher image quality, and amazing stabilization — easily the best in-camera stabilization among professional 360 cameras.  In this review, director Philip Bloom takes a look at the Pro 2.
