Hi Roy. Good news. The new app will allow raw+insv shooting. Which means you will be able to view immediately within the same app.
I dont know what you mean by needing a pc to share it. To share a raw dng stitched image?
The one x is easier because it can do hdr stitching and fusion in its own app. And the new app will be able to do median stacking and stitching too. That is beyond what mi sphere app can do at the moment.

Just bought this from using Mi Sphere which takes both RAW and JPG files – RAW for later processing using the excellent Stitch and Transfer apps by Hirota41d – in both cases I can view the photo just taken using the camera-stitched and using VR Media Player (poppolab).
This Insta360 cannot view on demand if shooting in RAW – I’ve asked Insta360 people to fix it.
Also, I still need their software (via a PC which I don’t carry around) if I want to share on demand.

Either way, I disagree with statements that say “the Insta360 workflow is better”.

No it’s not!!

Hi. Looking for help on some 360 live streaming requirements. I’m looking to Facebook live stream a multi-hour activity using my Instra360 One X but am not sure how to do it. I can continuously power the One X using a power adapter plugged into the One X’s micro USB port (with the battery compartment empty). But the FB live streaming feature only works if you have your phone or tablet plugged into the same micro USB port during the streaming. So I don’t see how to continuously power the camera and live stream at the same time and the battery won’t last nearly enough. Is this just not possible with the device?

The other problem is in order to have the phone plugged into the camera for the live streaming, it only comes from a super short lightning to micro USB cable and I can’t find anyone who sells a long cable in that configuration — so how do I stay way from my phone and myself being dominate in the camera because we have to be right there?
