What you recommend is very dangerous, the center of gravity is too high, I would never put a camera on this, especially my instaone rs 360 1 inch (rather heavy).
The Bushman and the Best360 are very expensive but if you want to rest assured they are the best to buy (this will be the reason if stocks run out quickly).
If you want to add weight look for the 200 gr smallrig counterweights (they have the 1/4 connection)

Would these combinations work?

I feel that the Tripod Ballhead for DSLR may not have the invisible stick effect of the Insta360 One X2 camera.

Hi Jack. Yes it can work with Theta X. It has a standard 1/4-20 connector.

Are these standard screw size?

Hi Dominik. You don’t need to level your camera. I usually adjust the horizon in post if the photo isn’t totally level.

if you use a broom handle it’s even cheaper

A cheap mini light stand usually does not have individually adjustable legs, so it would not be good for inclined surfaces.
