You should be OK with Z1 firmware Version 3.30.2 Jun. 11,2024, and X firmware Version 2.61.0 released in September.
But if new firmware is released, you might want to hold off until you can be sure it supports all the current shooting modes for the X and Z1

Also I find Z1 wifi/Bluetooth connection experience the worst one in any devices I’ve ever used. Still I hope to see Z1 successor soon.
