Hi Mic,
Love your site! This is SO cool that you have a Lenovo Mirage page, thanks!
Do you know what the last firmware update number is? My camera says 1.00.0125026 or something like that. I know it’s not supported anymore, and my app doesn’t say it needs to update when connected, but I wonder if that’s because they do not update anymore…
Thanks,
Paul
]]>Hi Brian. Sorry I haven’t used Mirage in a really long time. I haven’t developed an audio fix for it.
]]>Hi Dmitry. If you want animated 3d gif, kandao qoocam can do that because it can genrate a depth map. Pls note though that it takes several steps. Lenovo Mirage, evo, and vuze have no depth map capability
]]>could you explain to a novice how to go about removing the motion data from the video file?
]]>Hi Mic,
Yes, I saw the story. But I am not sure that will do anything to motivate manufacturers that have now backed out of their promise. LG has never even said a single word about VR180. All we got was Google’s assurance that LG would be introducing a camera – which not only LG never did, but LG never even hinted they would ever introduce such a camera.
One 3D 180 camera I did forget to mention in my last post is the Kodak PixPro 3D Pivot which is unique in that it is designed to handle like a regular camera in 3D 180 mode – complete with LCD display – but also can fold to shoot 2D 360. On top of that, it can even shoot 3D 16:9 for compatibility with glasses-free phones or 3D TVs. But again, only a prototype was ever shown at CES. However, they were showing an improved prototype at CES 2019 while Yi wouldn’t even talk about the Horizon at the same fair this year.
]]>Hi Francois. there is hope — see this story https://360rumors.com/2019/02/free-vr180.html
]]>Unfortunately, that prediction has come true – not only with LG (that never even released a prototype of their promised VR180 camera) but with Yi that appears to have completely abandoned their Horizon camera in spite of it being fully ready to go into production.
On the other hand, two other 3D 180 cameras have seen the light of day – those that combine 3D 180 with 2D 360 – but I suspect this is the end of the line for VR180. Too bad ! 🙁
]]>SPM has been doing that for months now…
Good to see that VR180 Creator finally implemented it.
